AhlulBayt News Agency: At least 299 Palestinians have died due to starvation and lack of medical supplies following the Israeli regime’s total blockade imposed on Gaza since March 2, according to a report released by the Gaza media office on Saturday.
According to IRNA, the office condemned Israel for deliberately obstructing the entry of humanitarian aid, exacerbating food shortages and leading to the deterioration of large quantities of aid stuck at border crossings, which risk expiring before reaching those in need.
Despite Israeli claims of permitting aid deliveries, the report noted that only about 100 trucks have entered the besieged territory. It further highlighted that aid convoys are being forced to navigate unsafe routes, where they face the constant threat of looting.
Additionally, the statement accused Israeli forces of targeting humanitarian workers, revealing that six relief personnel had recently been killed while carrying out their duties. The report warned that the continued blockade and attacks are pushing Gaza’s humanitarian crisis to catastrophic levels.
